Ipod Cat

Sandy Carson gave me a little soft sided cooler that had speakers and a connector to plug a MP3 players into. It fell apart the other day, but all the electronics still worked. For some reason… don’t ask me why ’cause I don’t know… I decided I should make this with the parts. 

I started with a bunch of scrap wood and drew a cat outline.

Cut him out.

Cut out a bunch more of him and hollowed out the middles. If I keep making dum shit like this I need to find a real scroll saw ’cause the jig saw was tough. 

Stacked up the cutouts and stapled them together.

Made room for the electronics.

Assembled and glued.

And here we are. A rockin’ hollow bodied iPod cat.

Coming out of his tail is the FM radio antenna.

The ipod connector comes out of down there. 

Ipod cat looks a little rough, but his warm rockin’ hollow bodied sound more then makes up for it.
